Hume

Hume is a Web3 entertainment company that develops virtual artists, known as "metastars," by integrating music, digital identity, and storytelling. Their inaugural metastar, angelbaby, has achieved multiple number-one hits on the Web3 streaming platform Audius and has performed at events such as Art Basel, Fluf Haus LA, and SXSW. In January 2023, Hume acquired Blocktones, a Web3 music startup specializing in generative audio NFTs, to enhance their platform's capabilities and support creators in launching their own metastars. The company secured $11.7 million in Series A funding in September 2022, led by TCG Crypto, to expand its roster of virtual artists and develop a fan-to-metastar engagement platform.
