<h3>Expected Commitment:</h3>

<li>Time Commitment: 20 hours per week, including at least one day on weekends.</li>
<li>Time Zone: Core coverage needed in GMT hours (Western / Central Europe)</li>

<h3>What You'll Do:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Triage and prioritize support requests from various sources (social DMs, Front, X, Farcaster, etc.)</li>
<li>Collaborate with teammates across time zones to provide round-the-clock coverage</li>
<li>Help reduce response times across our key support channels</li>
<li>Create tickets in Linear for the Product and Engineering teams to track bug fixes and product changes</li>
<li>Perform appropriate content moderation actions across our platforms</li>

<h3>What We're Looking For:</h3>

<li>Strong understanding of Ethereum, block explorers, tokens, and market mechanics</li>
<li>Experience in customer support or community management</li>
<li>Collaborative, empathetic, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving</li>
<li>Strong writing skills and adept communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment</li>
<li>Familiarity with tokens, DEXs, and crypto on both L1s and L2s</li>
<li>An interest in web3 news and culture, especially on Farcaster or X</li>
<li>Hands-on experience trading, posting, or using Zora (or similar token/market platforms)</li>
<li>Experience in community moderation or engagement</li>

<h3>Here's the Pay Range:</h3>
At Zora, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US hourly pay rate range for this position is:

<li>Pay Range: $25/hr - $30/hr USD</li>
</ul>
This reflects the compensation target for new hire contractors for the position across all locations. Please note, the compensation details provided do not include benefits and perks that we offer. 
 
We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Zora will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration. We're hiring a Community Operations Lead to help scale and streamline one of the most distributed, engaged, and high-impact communities in Web3. This role sits at the core of our global community strategy—supporting operations, regional contributors, grants, and reporting systems to ensure execution at scale. As a key partner to the Head of Community, you’ll be instrumental in driving operational excellence, strengthening contributor support, and surfacing insights that influence product, marketing, and ecosystem priorities.
This role reports to the Aptos Foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Ops & Reporting:

<li>Partner with the Global CM reporting lead to manage weekly reporting systems across 15+ regional CMs</li>
<li>Maintain Airtable, Notion, and Google Sheet dashboards to track program milestones, sentiment, and engagement</li>
<li>Track and report on community OKRs to align with broader team goals</li>
<li>Ensure internal tools and documentation are up-to-date, including calendars and event trackers</li>
</ul>
Program & Regional CM Support:
<ul>
<li>Provide playbook guidance and operational support to regional CMs to increase participation and execution</li>
<li>Identify under-resourced regions and help activate programming through toolkits, guidance, or executional support</li>
<li>Assist in onboarding, documentation, and tracking for the Aptos Collective and regional CM contributions</li>
<li>Support internal communications across the 15+person part-time CM team to surface wins and risks</li>
</ul>
Grant Operations:
<ul>
<li>Support the newly launched Community Grants program by tracking over regional events and content creators</li>
<li>Assist in evaluating applications, following up on deliverables, and maintaining grant dashboards</li>
<li>Coordinate reporting for grant outcomes and recommend process improvements</li>

Research & Experimentation:

<li>Help research and support pilot programs for new community verticals (e.g., NFTs, creator initiatives)</li>
<li>Support early stage experiments in content, programs, and partnerships</li>

Cross-functional Communication:

<li>Provide regular updates to the Head of Community and relevant stakeholders across ecosystem, product, and marketing</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>3–6 years of experience in community operations, ecosystem support, or program management roles</li>
<li>Proven ability to support or scale distributed community teams, including event execution and contributor onboarding</li>
<li>Deep familiarity with crypto and Web3 culture, including current narratives, ecosystem dynamics, and community tooling (e.g., Discord bots, TG moderation, Twitter/X workflows)</li>
<li>Experience with ambassador programs, community campaigns, or grants evaluation and tracking</li>
<li>Operational rigor with a growth mindset; you understand how to track impact and optimize for engagement and contribution</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize community feedback into actionable insights</li>
<li>Comfortable using Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets, and async collaboration tools</li>
<li>Clear communicator, able to manage multiple stakeholders across time zones</li>
