Exchange Substrate

We're looking for a frontend developer to help build a cross-chain decentralized exchange (DEX) UI. The ideal person has 3–5+ years of experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, and has worked on Web3 apps before. They should be comfortable integrating wallets like MetaMask, WalletConnect, and Coinbase using libraries like Wagmi, RainbowKit, or Web3Modal. Strong knowledge of Ethers.js is key for handling Ethereum and EVM-based chains. Bonus points if they’ve worked with Substrate/Polkadot.js, since the DEX backend is built on that stack. They should understand how wallet connections, signatures, RPCs, and chain switching work, and ideally be able to troubleshoot cross-chain quirks. Experience with decentralized protocols and privacy-focused coins like Monero or Bitcoin is a plus. We want someone who writes clean, maintainable code, is security-conscious (especially around wallet/key handling), and can collaborate with backend and design teams. Experience with Tailwind or similar CSS frameworks is great. It’s a plus if they’ve built or contributed to crypto DEXs, trading UIs, or DeFi dashboards.Reach out and we’ll brief you on the stack, scope, and product vision.

Web3 Frontend Engineer - React/TypeScript

Parity Technologies builds core infrastructure for blockchains and Web 3.0 technologies. We strive to write the fastest, lightest, and safest core technology in Blockchain and write lots of open-source code.
Parity works in a very flat hierarchy with lots of autonomy and high levels of personal responsibility, and we try to mimic an open-source workflow in much of what we do. You will be joining the <a href="https://medium.com/polkadot-network/common-good-parachains-an-introduction-to-governance-allocated-parachain-slots-88e01812160d" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc" target="_blank">System Parachains</a> team, which focuses on moving the core Polkadot protocol into parachains. Our users range from other parachain developers using XCM, application developers, and end-users.
This role is for experienced software engineers who can work with low level, mission-critical code and take ownership of a product from understanding users, to developing solutions, to working with auditors, to producing documentation, to testing and releasing into production. It will include working in Substrate FRAME and will require a deep understanding of the XCM virtual machine used for cross-chain programs.
We work on open-source software as a member of a community. Applicants need to have good communication skills and will be expected to engage with the community on GitHub, Stack Exchange, and chat.

These two suites have different brand voices, and each have their own growth goals and community requirements and challenges. This is the other 50% of the job.We don't only hire from crypto. This job will be offered to a creative social media enthusiast who can prove their ability to come up with innovative concepts, video campaigns, and even shortcut ways to promote some of the awesome user-generated content that we often see.
