Asset Management Product Management Analyst

Who You Are:

We are seeking a dynamic product management analyst to join our asset management product team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development, oversight and enhancement of Galaxy Asset Management’s (GAM) investment offerings. The candidate will likely have a strong understanding of the asset management industry and be commercially minded ensuring GAM is competitively positioned across its three investment verticals: active, passive, and venture. This individual will work closely with legal & compliance, finance, operations, client service, marketing, sales, portfolio management & trading, and strategy. The product team is at the cross section of all GAM strategic initiatives, and this role will have a direct impact on GAM’s growth and success.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist Head of Product on the execution of our product strategy
• Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities across Alts, ETFs, and Index Providers
• Build business cases, when applicable, for product enhancements to existing investment offerings
• Lead cross-functional working groups to drive new product launches
• Assist with new product development
• Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships across the firm
• Ad hoc support of sales and marketing collateral

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 1-5 years of experience in similar product role working on alternative investment products and/or exchange-traded funds
• Experience working with digital assets preferred, but a strong interest and understanding of the asset class is required
• Strong interest in capital markets and asset management industry
• Experience with various programming languages a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Curious mind and problem solver
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Works with urgency
