About The Role:

Aptos is seeking a driven and experienced Business Recruiter to play a crucial role in attracting top-tier talent to our team. Collaborating closely with the recruiting and people team, this individual will focus on recruiting for our Business Development, Partnerships, and Ecosystems teams, with an emphasis on identifying and securing hard-to-fill positions. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Proactively source and engage with potential candidates using platforms like LinkedIn and Gem, leveraging your network and industry knowledge to identify top talent.
  • Conduct thorough resume evaluations and screenings within our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse, ensuring alignment with role requirements and company values.
  • Collaborate with the hiring team to refine recruiting methods and processes, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct initial recruiter screening calls with all prospective candidates, assessing their qualifications, experience, and fit for the role and our company culture.
  • Craft compelling and accurate job descriptions, strategically posting them on various career websites, newspapers, and university boards to attract qualified candidates.
  • Maintain meticulous records of interviews and new hires, ensuring accuracy and completeness within our recruiting systems.
  • Actively update and manage recruiting systems such as Greenhouse and Gem, ensuring data integrity and facilitating seamless candidate management.
  • Provide support to the people team by generating executive reports and dashboards to track recruitment metrics effectively.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to support sourcing needs for both technical and non-technical positions, contributing to the overall success of our talent acquisition efforts.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Recruiter or in a similar recruiting role, with at least 1 year specializing in recruiting for hard-to-fill Business Development, Partnerships, or Sales roles.
  • Past experience working in Web3 is required
  • Demonstrated understanding of web3 and its implications within the business landscape, enabling you to effectively engage with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with candidates and convey the company's values and culture.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience conducting various types of interviews, including structured, competency-based, and behavioral interviews, to assess candidate suitability and fit.
  • Familiarity with HR databases (e.g., Rippling), applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse), and sourcing tools (e.g., SeekOut, Gem), enabling you to navigate and leverage these tools effectively.
  • Proficiency in social media sourcing, particularly on platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter, to identify, engage, and attract potential candidates to our organization.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $100k-$150k. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position of a candidate based in the Bay Area at any level. We do hire exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience in their field. As such, our range may be higher than what is displayed. Our base salary ranges are determined by experience and location, and we hire at all levels for multiple roles. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills demonstrated during the interviews, working experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include equity, tokens, or benefits.
