DeFi Community Manager

As Mangrove’s Community Manager, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in the growth of a project that will redefine the rules of decentralized finance, by creating and nurturing the Mangrove community.

You will be an integral part of the Marketing team.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Marketing, Engineering, and Business Development teams in strategizing and executing the community management strategies
• Build, animate, nurture, and grow the Mangrove community
• Provide support to the Mangrove community
• Write both technical and easy-to-understand content about Mangrove: blog posts, newsletters, Twitter threads, discord announcements…
• Create questlines to bring developers
• Organise online AMA, interviews, workshops, and IRL events & hackathons

Who is Mangrove’s DeFi Community Manager?

• Located in a timezone close to CET (Europe)
• Full English proficiency level
• Critical thinker and well-organized self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative
• Exceptional communication and marketing skills
• Familiar with open-source culture and software engineering
• 3+ years of working experience in Community Management and Marketing in Blockchain and DeFi
• 1+ year experience using DeFi, web3 and writing about it (DeFi threads, blog articles..)
• Solid understanding of financial markets & DeFi
• Obsessed with creating an active and healthy community oriented towards the growth of a decentralised project
• Strong evidence of animating and engaging crypto communities
• Able to work autonomously

Even better if you have/are:

• Experience working remotely/with remote teams
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, PR, or a related field
• Able to speak various languages
