Head of Growth

  About the role:   Scroll is building the dominant platform for decentralized transactions on the web. And with our exciting launch on mainnet this month, our ability to drive ecosystem growth is more critical than ever to our continued success. This is where you come in: as the Head of Growth, you will work closely with our founders and ensure that our communications, developer relations, and business development strategies are not only cohesive, but aligned with our overall vision of becoming the default transaction layer of Ethereum.   But your role is not simply about leading and driving our growth strategy: it's about understanding the nuances of our developer ecosystem, ensuring that our communications resonate with developers, and defining strategic partnerships to amplify our reach.     In practice then, you’ll be asked to engage developers and the broader community to:

• Onboard the next billion users onto decentralized networks by empowering builders to create new use cases and value for their users
• Create a secure environment for businesses and institutions to deploy open financial products for these users
• Foster a community of creative developers who experiment with emerging tech and choose Scroll to anchor their code and execution
• Use data to ideate, build, and optimize, and ensure that feedback from our ecosystem informs our product and research direction.
• Lead and inspire a talented team with the same level of autonomy, trust, candor and space for creativity and experimentation that you will be given.

Your ability to lead and collaborate with this team at Scroll, and to master the levers of growth in the context of our unique ecosystem will mean a direct and outsized impact on the future of the decentralized web.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with Scroll's vision and goals.
• Work closely with Scroll's tech and product teams to understand the needs and expectations of our developers.
• Identify market opportunities, user segments, and value propositions to drive user adoption.
• Collaborate with Scroll’s leadership team to refine and iterate the company's growth roadmap.
• Lead efforts to attract new and experienced developers to Scroll.
• Oversee the creation and execution of targeted marketing campaigns across various channels.
• Establish and manage data analytics processes to track and analyse key developer metrics.
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations and well-structured OKRs.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform growth strategies.
• Identify and forge strategic partnerships to extend Scroll's reach and influence.
• Collaborate with external partners and ecosystem players.
• Develop and nurture relationships to create co-marketing, integration, and collaboration opportunities.
• Build and lead a high-performing growth team, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Align team goals with company OKRs.

Required skills and experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a growth role within Crypto.
• Deep understanding of the blockchain space, particularly Ethereum and scaling solutions.
• Ability to lead and grow a diverse, global team.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
