This is a unique opportunity to join a team that’s a leading innovator in the digital currency financial ecosystem. The candidate will work closely with senior leadership to develop Galaxy’s product suite and drive growth in APAC. Focus will be on winning mindshare and delivering the full suite of the firm’s capabilities, with focus on Global Markets. What You’ll Do:

As the Head of APAC Sales, you will work closely with Galaxy’s global institutional sales and trading team to own and grow new relationships, delivering Galaxy’s crypto product suite to APAC based institutions. You will gain exposure to both crypto native as well as traditional institutions, whilst engaging on workstreams that focus on Global Markets, Asset Management and Infrastructure solutions.

  • Work with senior leadership to develop go-to-market strategy and tactics for delivering Galaxy’s crypto product suite to APAC based institutions
  • Provide leadership in growing our corporate sales team and coverage plan
  • Own deal origination and execution to increase volumes across products, uncovering new opportunities with existing and new counterparties
  • Own all elements of the customer life cycle: scoping of opportunities, identifying potential customers, framing of value, negotiating documentation, optimizing our customer experience
  • Ideate around Galaxy’s corporate product offering as we look to educate and deliver institutional grade cryptocurrency solutions
  • Work independently to lead cross-functional partnership initiatives, working with product, finance, comms, compliance, legal and marketing
  • Maintain healthy and productive client relationships, resolving business, policy and technical issues
  • Understand regional market and crypto-specific market microstructure

What We’re Looking For:

  • Crypto experience
  • At least 10 years’ experience working in or across either:
    • Crypto markets, across either Cefi or Defi Defi (with notable derivatives experience)
    • FICC or equities, with a strong understanding of linear/non-linear derivatives (either flow or structured)
  • Experience developing and leading customer relationships at senior / C-suite levels
  • Knowledge of the APAC region
  • Solutions-orientated approach
  • Fluent English required, fluent Chinese preferred
  • Bachelors degree
  • Office first, remote second mindset

  • Experience in business development, product or growth a plus
