Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for pipeline & portfolio of major clients (institutional/VIP clients) in Southern Africa.
- Proactively source and identify new institutional customers to onboard as well as corporate partnerships such as Telecoms, Corporates, Banks, NBFI’s.
- Drive business growth through partnerships and strategic agreements to increase market penetration, user acquisition, revenue, and other relevant metrics.
- Grow Binance’s market position and drive profitability across the entire product portfolio - including registration, deposit and tradeDevelop new business opportunities across different channels in Southern Africa and maintain relationships with clients.
- Create and execute localized strategies to aid in the adoption of crypto-based ecosystem
- Increase operational efficiency throughout the business development organization.
- Cross functional collaboration with internal stakeholders across different teams and geographies.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and interest in the world of cryptocurrency.
- 10+ years experience in sales and client services function with an international financial background in banking, investments, etc.
- Client portfolio including Proprietary desk, institutional clients, HNW individuals, private bank customers with brokers, futures institutions or commercial banks, etc.
- Effective communicator able to represent Binance to external stakeholders and liaise with internal teams such as legal, compliance, AML, etc.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering on growth metrics, such as web traffic, leads, client conversations, and revenue generation.
