Social Media Manager (Web3 Gaming)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to oversee and execute our social media strategy across various platforms. As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and engaging our social media community, creating captivating content, driving brand awareness and follower engagement.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility, engage our target audience, and drive customer acquisition and retention.
• Assist our content creation teams in the creation of engaging branding content for social media channels, including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Discord, Telegram, and other relevant platforms.  
• Monitor social media trends, identify opportunities for engagement and growth, and leverage analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance.
• Manage social media campaigns, including content planning, scheduling, and optimization, while ensuring consistency across all platforms.
• Interact with our social media community, respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, and foster meaningful relationships with followers, customers and potential partners. 
• Maintain social media account profiles to ensure consistent branding.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creation, design, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive brand message and consistent user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing, integrating innovative strategies and tactics into our social media efforts.
• Monitor competitor activity, benchmark social media performance, and identify areas for improvement and differentiation. 
• Actively engage with our community across platforms (Discord and Telegram), moderating discussions, answering questions, and providing regular updates to keep the community informed and excited about our project’s developments.
• Build community engagement campaigns and create roles (twitter raider, alpha role, etc)
• Onboard and manage mods/ambassadors.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of managing and growing social media channels in the crypto or gaming industry.
• In-depth understanding of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for organic and paid social media strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging social media content.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms to track performance, generate insights, and optimize campaigns.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics, ensuring the brand's visual identity is maintained across social media channels.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple social media accounts and campaigns simultaneously. 
• In-depth knowledge of Web3 gaming, the crypto and blockchain industry, staying informed about the latest trends and developments.
• Positive attitude, proactive approach, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools is a plus. 
• Know how to integrate AI tools into your workflow to enhance efficiency and productivity. 
• Must know how to manage campaigns on questing platform such as Galaxe, Zealy, Taskon and Gleam.
