The venue, custom-built for rates derivatives, seeks to combine transparency and efficiency of zero-counterparty risk on-chain trading, where collateral and risk are managed entirely on the blockchain, with the familiar experience and accessibility of centralised exchanges.
Overview:
As the Chief of Staff at Rho Protocol, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth, overseeing strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence. You will work closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders to streamline operations, foster cross-functional collaboration, and execute on the company's vision within the decentralised finance (DeFi) space. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and leadership skills to support the rapid expansion and success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and refine the company's strategic priorities, goals, and initiatives within the DeFi ecosystem.
- Project Management: Oversee key projects and initiatives from inception to completion, tracking progress, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Operational Excellence: Implement best practices and processes to enhance operational efficiency and scalability across all departments, including but not limited to finance, marketing, product development, and customer support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and alignment between different teams to ensure cohesive execution of company objectives and initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure the success and impact of various projects and initiatives, providing regular updates to the executive team.
- Executive Support: Provide direct support to the CEO, including managing schedules, preparing materials for meetings, conducting research, and handling other strategic tasks as needed.
- External Relations: Represent the company in external meetings, conferences, and events, building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry leaders.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges facing the organization and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of developments and trends in the DeFi space, leveraging insights to drive innovation and maintain the company's competitive edge.

Qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in a strategic or operational role, preferably within the fintech or DeFi industry.
- Have an understanding of decentralized finance concepts, which they are keen to develop.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
