Marketing and Communications Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing and Communications Manager to join our globally distributed team and who will help manage an upcoming partner deployment. As a Marketing and Communications Manager, you will work cross functionally to help our partner meet, if not exceed their goals. Your roles will consist of marketing strategy, creation and management of the content calendar, content creation, creating distribution strategies and ensuring continual alignment with our deployment objectives.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy:

• Own and deliver core metrics: specifically adoption, funding, and scale, and any specific mar/coms metrics required by our partner engagements. 
• Build marketing strategies to help our communities meet their present and future goals
• Work internally to create and build content & campaigns that drive value creation 
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all client requirements are met

Distribution and Content: 

• Create content relevant to the partners we are serving (you’ll have design help)
• Strategize and build relationships with influencers and KOLs in the ecosystem to increase distribution
• Plan, promote and host X Spaces, and/or alternatively speak at other KOL spaces
• Create and manage a content calendar 
• You are comfortable creating slides and presenting to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a marketing/growth (web3 experience is required)
• Strategic thinker, ability to prioritize and think independently
• Exceptional time management, including work planning, and organization
• Work effectively with teams within Thrive and with key partner community stakeholders
• Ability to create succinctly written documentation (e.g., Discord, Slack, emails, Google
• Sheets, Google Docs)
• Ability to multitask and persevere in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a sense of urgency 
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Have fun; make sure others have fun too
• Highly autonomous; you thrive on iterative learning-by-doing 
• Excel in a remote-only work environment 
• High emotional intelligence with an ability to think creatively, strategically, and innovatively
