Social Content Specialist (Part-time Contract)

We're looking for a Social Content Specialist on a part-time, contract basis to weave their magic across the SDF's social media platforms. This role will be for approximately 25 hours per week through the end of 2024. In this role, we're seeking a seasoned communicator who will elevate our brand both externally and internally. The candidate will work closely with our Senior Social Media Manager and different stakeholders to craft compelling content that resonates within our organization. 

This mid-level maestro will play a pivotal role as the co-creative brain behind Twitter and LinkedIn, with the exciting addition of soon-to-be conquered platforms like TikTok and Instagram. The ideal candidate seamlessly blends executive messaging with social media finesse, enhancing our brand from an internal perspective outward. In this role, you will: 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and amplify the key messages of the Stellar Developer Foundation.
• Create and curate engaging content that enhances our brand image both internally and externally.
• Seamlessly blend executive messaging with social media finesse to ensure a cohesive online presence.
• Support SDF executives to increase their personal brand on social media
• Absorbs and incorporates the latest memes, trends, and hashtags into our content strategy.
• Develop and execute content plans that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience.
• Work closely with the team to increase executive presence through impactful copy.
• Generate attention-grabbing videos per week across various platforms.

You Have:

• Social Media Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in social media marketing, specifically in roles emphasizing content creation and community engagement. A track record of crafting compelling narratives across various platforms.
• TikTok and Instagram Obsessed: Proven track record of creating and executing successful content campaigns on TikTok and Instagram. Demonstrated ability to understand the nuances of these platforms, creating engaging and shareable content that resonates with diverse audiences.
• Executive Presence Amplifier: Proven experience in supporting and enhancing the executive presence of organizational leaders across various social media platforms. A track record of crafting content that elevates the visibility and credibility of executives.
• Blockchain Developer Audience Insight: Proven experience in understanding and connecting with the blockchain developer community through targeted social media campaigns. Familiarity with the unique dynamics and preferences of this audience.
• Collaborative Campaigner: Success in cross-functional collaboration, particularly in coordinating social media efforts with various teams. Demonstrated ability to create integrated campaigns that amplify messaging effectively.

We offer competitive pay with a base range for this position of $45 - $60 per hour for 25 hours of work per week depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This is a 1099 contract paid monthly and the benefits below do not apply to contract positions.
