Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior NFT Developer who is passionate about building innovative, scalable, and secure NFT-based systems that redefine digital ownership and utility. You’ll lead the design and implementation of NFT smart contracts, on-chain metadata logic, and integrations with marketplaces, token standards, and off-chain services.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of launching NFT projects — from generative collections and dynamic metadata to fractionalization, royalties, and advanced minting mechanics. You’re comfortable working across EVM-compatible chains, integrating with APIs and decentralized storage solutions (IPFS, Arweave), and ensuring top-tier security and performance at every step.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy secure NFT smart contracts using Solidity and ERC standards (ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-2981, etc.)
- Design custom minting logic, reveal mechanisms, and trait randomization systems for NFT collections
- Implement dynamic or evolving NFT metadata using decentralized storage (IPFS, Arweave, or Filecoin)
- Integrate NFTs into web3-enabled frontends and marketplaces using ethers.js, wagmi, or similar libraries
- Develop scalable minting, marketplace, and ownership verification APIs in collaboration with backend engineers
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate creative and functional concepts into on-chain mechanics
- Conduct internal audits, write unit and integration tests using Hardhat or Foundry, and support external security reviews
- Optimize gas efficiency, minting performance, and cross-chain interoperability
- Stay current with NFT ecosystem standards, royalty models, and L2 minting best practices
- Contribute to open-source NFT tooling, SDKs, or developer documentation
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing and deploying Solidity smart contracts
- 2+ years specifically focused on NFTs or tokenized digital assets
- Deep understanding of NFT standards (ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-2981, ERC-6551) and their extensions
- Proven experience deploying NFT contracts to mainnet (Ethereum, Polygon, or comparable EVM chains)
- Familiarity with NFT marketplaces (OpenSea, Blur, Magic Eden) and on-chain indexing
- Strong grasp of metadata structures, decentralized storage, and token URI design
- Proficiency integrating smart contracts with backend or API services (Node.js, Go, or Python)
- Comfortable working in CI/CD environments, Git workflows, and async-first teams
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills for distributed collaboration
- Experience building or scaling NFT marketplaces, launchpads, or creator tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with dynamic NFTs, gaming/NFT interoperability, or token-bound accounts (ERC-6551)
- Background in royalty enforcement, metadata evolution, or NFT rental/fractionalization mechanics
- Contributions to NFT open-source projects, SDKs, or community standards
- Familiarity with Layer 2 minting, bridging NFTs, or gasless transaction frameworks
- Prior involvement in NFT smart contract audits or bug bounty programs
