We are seeking a skilled Senior Digital Capital Markets Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of financial experience with at least 3 within the blockchain space evaluating investments and markets and assessing risk adjusted returns.  In this role you’ll analyze investment opportunities, manage risk and operationalize strategies. This role requires an understanding of the blockchain and DeFi markets, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead execution of cryptocurrency sales, de-fi investments and options activities
• Monitor XLM sales, ensuring execution is appropriate and policy is optimized
• Leverage internal and external tools to achieve efficient execution
• Utilize an understanding of options markets to assess program economics in a standard and regular manner
2. Conduct market research and analysis. Diligence opportunities and propose strategies
• Provide in-depth research on stellar blockchain investment opportunities including emerging DeFi projects. Model economics and gauge the appropriateness of returns
• Partner with Product counterparts to diligence smart contracts 
• Understand the flow of funds and key market drivers 
• Monitor and analyze market trends, price movements, and other relevant data to inform decisions
• Conduct risk assessments including counterparty risk, contract risk, collateralization rates, basis risk, concentration risk
• Implement risk management strategies to protect our assets.
3. Develop operational processes around digital asset positions
• Leverage outside partners or internal capabilities to execute capital deployment strategies
• Partner with the accounting team to ensure appropriate controls on fund movements and documentation of risk management practices
• Navigate accounting and operational requirements for tokens, DeFi lending / borrowing positions, AMM liquidity etc.  
4. Monitor markets, existing positions and counterparties. Provide risk management reporting and recommendationsLeverage an understanding about market depth, liquidity and dynamics to monitor liquidity in key currency pairs, bridged assets and lending protocols. Propose supporting strategies 
• Assess XLM trading activity including positions on volatility and related economics 
• Monitor and report on positions in lending protocols, AMMs, CDPs (Collateralized Debt Positions),  and related tokens 
5. Evolve Internal financial systems to use the Stellar network more robustly with emerging technology products
• Evaluate and implement enterprise level wallet capabilities 
• Seek opportunities to use web3 technology for finance needs to help demonstrate real world utility

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA Preferred
• 6 years of financial experience
• 3+ years of experience in the blockchain space. Additional markets or finance experience a plus
• Understanding of crypto market trading/execution, DeFi protocols, blockchain 
• Ability to develop risk-adjusted strategies for crypto market trading/execution
• Experience in using blockchain explorers, trading platforms, and DeFi tools 
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to effectively present analysis
• Passion for decentralized finance and a proactive approach to staying updated with industry trends
• Ability to articulate complex investment and risk strategies to leadership effectively and efficiently

We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $160,000 - $210,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
