Community Manager - Part Time

We are looking for a part time experienced and passionate Community Manager 🌟 to support our Web3 DeFi protocol, maxAPY. You will play a key role in building and engaging with our community across multiple platforms, primarily Discord 💬, while also ensuring active participation on Twitter 🐦. Your job will be to moderate discussions, encourage engagement, and share key news and updates from both maxAPY and the wider DeFi ecosystem 🌐. You will be the second-in-command behind the Social Media Manager, ensuring our community is active and informed.

Key Responsibilities:

Discord Community Management 🎮:

• Actively moderate, monitor, and manage our Discord server.
• Foster a positive and engaged community by responding to questions, encouraging discussions, and addressing issues or concerns.
• Organize community events, AMAs, and discussions to maintain engagement.

Twitter Management 🐦:

• Propose and execute 5-10 tweets daily focused on updates from maxAPY, news from underlying protocols, and broader developments in the DeFi space.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to ensure consistency in messaging and content style.
• Monitor trends on Twitter and leverage them to create meaningful interactions.

Multi-Platform Engagement 🌐:

• Manage announcements and engage the community on Telegram, Farcaster, and Lens.
• Ensure cross-platform consistency in community messaging and updates.

Airdrop Research 🪂:

• Conduct research on current and upcoming DeFi airdrops, identifying patterns and best practices to benefit maxAPY.
• Share insights and propose strategies to leverage airdrop mechanics to increase engagement and community growth.

Collaboration with Social Media Manager 🤝:

• Work closely with the Social Media Manager to implement social media strategies, including campaign coordination and tracking of social media metrics.
• Ensure the Twitter activity supports overall platform growth goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience managing Discord communities for Web3 or DeFi projects 🎮.
• Active knowledge of the DeFi ecosystem 📊: You should understand DeFi protocols, concepts like yield farming, and airdrop mechanics.
• Twitter proficiency 🐦: Capable of handling high-volume Twitter activity, including content generation, engagement, and monitoring trends.
• Research skills 🔍: Ability to conduct airdrop research and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills 🗣️: You must be able to clearly communicate with the community across various channels and understand the tone and language used within DeFi communities.

Preferred Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience as a community manager or in a related role within the Web3 space 🌐.
• Familiarity with Telegram, Farcaster, Lens, and other decentralized social media platforms 📱.
• Previous experience engaging communities through organic growth strategies (e.g., airdrops, events, etc.) 📈.
