Head of Business Development & Partnerships

We are actively seeking an experienced Head of Business Development & Partnerships to assume responsibility for exploring and maximizing opportunities for Yield App across the web3 ecosystem.

Now is the time for Yield App to reinforce our position as one of the leading digital wealth platforms and to identify strong and lasting partnerships with those projects that continue to build for the future of finance.

The role will require an individual with significant personal and professional exposure to the entire web3 / cryptocurrency industry and an existing network of contacts, from investors and VCs to layer-1 protocols to emerging early-stage start-ups.

The Head of Business Development & Partnerships will also:

• Undertake continuous research and maintain a high level of knowledge around all aspects of the web3 sector, monitoring current and predicting future trends.
• Build lasting and beneficial relationships with key industry figures and constantly seek out emerging projects.
• Identify key co-branding / co-creation partnerships for Yield App that will ultimately add value and drive customer acquisition.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across marketing, finance, investment, and portfolio management to identify new trends and implement strategies to maximise strategic partnership opportunities.
• Negotiate and finalise deals whilst monitoring and reporting on project ROI.

This role will require an independent and strategic thinker with a solid background in traditional investment management who has made the cross-over into digital assets and the web3 sector:

• At least 5 years in a global business development, partnerships, strategic role with a demonstrable track record of building successful partnerships.
• A significant existing network across the web3 landscape, from investors and VCs to emerging projects.
• An inherent understanding and ability to talk in detail about the technical aspects of web3 / blockchain technologies and decentralized finance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to travel freely, globally. Unfortunately, we will be unable to consider those that face any VISA and / or travel restrictions.

This is a fully remote role that will require significant travel and work across multiple time zones.
