Lead Brand & Communication

At Request Finance, you will be working on enhancing the platform used by over 2,000 Web 3.0 companies like AAVE, The Sandbox, and Maker to manage their B2B crypto payments. Managing crypto payments is an administrative nightmare for businesses. Our app solves that with thoughtful features like a dashboard showing all your invoices and their on-chain payment statuses, paying hundreds of invoices to different wallets in a few clicks, scheduling recurring invoices, and more. We’re looking for a brand and communications manager to help shape our vision, positioning, value proposition and messaging; and drive awareness of Request Finance both within and beyond the Web3 space.Leading on our brand and communications initiatives, you will bring clarity to our value proposition, define what makes us different and articulate the benefits that we bring to our target audience. You’ll work closely with our product, growth and business development teams to integrate our brand narrative, product positioning and key messages across our external channels.You will own our brand and communications plan and strategy - identifying which channels will best achieve our business objectives including social media, email, media platforms and events - and will put in place the metrics to measure and report on performance.Content will play an integral role in our communications strategy and keeping yourself abreast of the latest trends and topics in Web3, crypto and payments, as well as the emerging channels, will be essential to positioning us at the centre of what’s happening in the industry. You will work closely with our Content Marketer on the content strategy and develop our content publishing and distribution plan.Key responsibilities:- Develop our brand narrative, positioning and value proposition- Own the brand and communications strategy and plan- Own the content strategy and distribution plan- Set clear objectives and put in place the metrics and processes to measure and report on success- Identify and manage the communication channels including social media, community management e.g. email campaigns, newsletters, media platforms and content publishing- Support on event participation including identifying key events, speaking opportunities, sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities- Establish the brand and communications function and grow the team via freelancers, external agency support and new hires as required

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

This is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role in a start-up company in the emerging Web3 / crypto space. You don’t need to have experience in crypto, payments or financial worlds. Rather, you’ll be a communications professional with experience in developing and growing a brand.You’ll know how to leverage data, sources and subject matter experts - internally and externally. You’ll know how to distil and present this information in the most compelling ways. And you’ll know which mix channels to use to achieve the right outcomes. Above all, you’ll know how to communicate with businesses about the issues that matter most to them.Request Finance is a fully remote company with employees located across Europe, Asia and the US. So you’ll need to be self-motivated, adept at building relationships and enjoy collaborating across teams and time zones. You have bold ideas to challenge the status quo and you’re not afraid to experiment with new formats.
• Hands-on experience gained in communications, brand messaging, social media, SEO, content marketing
• Experience managing external agency partners
• English is the language of the Web3 world so native English is required
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in a Saas company
