Marketing Director

Location: Remote. Company Timezone: AEST (UTC+10)

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Marketing Director to join our team! 

Upon this role, you will take the full ownership of marketing function and initiatives (brand and growth) to generate real and tangible results. You will report directly to Founders.

A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of effective marketing, community, and content management practices in the DeFi, NFT and Blockchain space across digital and traditional marketing and community channels.

You should be a savvy individual up-to-date with the emerging MetaVerse/GameFI industry boom, have experience in growth hacking, a keen eye for detail, and solid understanding of the NFT landscape.

You’ll develop a marketing strategy to grow our community and users through building and executing digital and brand campaigns.

Responsibilities:

General:

• Create, implement and maintain new and existing marketing campaigns and userbase growth strategies with clear goals and targets.
• Research similar projects and identify target markets using SWOT analysis, SEO and market research to plan, create and execute successful campaigns.
• Research, identify and laser-target in on where our audience lives and frequents.
• Utilisation of marketing analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand the market segmentation in order to fully target the right audience.
• Build, measure, track and analyze marketing metric data to determine the ROI of marketing activities & forecast results. Set up quantifiable KPIs.
• Assist us in establishing 'who we are' (aka. what tone of voice) and our brand identity.

Acquisition & Retention:

• Identify and engage with influencers and general promotion vendors across platforms (Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
• Establish any missing strategic social media channels (Eg. Instagram, TikTok).
• Develop and launch social media campaigns across multiple channels (Twitter, TikTok, Instagram).
• Manage and implement posting on social media and community platforms (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, Discord and YouTube).
• Strategise and work with Community Managers on building hype for our community channels (Discord, Telegram, Twitter)
• Get involved in all marketing tasks content creation, copywriting, branding, public relations & press releases, community management, advertising, digital footprint and user base growth.
• Analyze market trends, listen to community feedback, conduct competitive analysis and give improvement proposals to Founders.
• Assist in collaboration with UI/UX team in design of new website & upcoming assets, providing feedback given your skillset.
• Propose Content & Community Management Team and plan budgets.
• Collaborate with the team, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to maintain a high quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Research, assess & evaluate ideal Centralised Exchanges (CEXs) for our Token and assist with these launches.
• Manage and coordinate all marketing activities from the idea to generation of real and tangible results.

We expect you have:

• At least 3+ years of experience in a senior data-driven marketing role and a proven track record of success in crypto, blockchain, DeFi, NFTs or MetaVerse.
• A deep understanding of the gaming, metaverse, NFT,and DeFi markets, the trends and the key players.
• Be a clear methodical thinker who can present their results in a clear, data-driven manner.
• Interest in traditional gaming, blockchain and NFT gaming technology.
• Ability to think creatively and outside the box.
• Experience in fast-growing technology startups or established.
• Experience and passion for growth hacking and guerilla marketing within the crypto world.
• Excitement and passion to be part of one of the fastest growing and unique MetaVerse Virtual World games on the planet.
• Able to take full ownership of the role. Be self-motivated, require minimal supervision to achieve targets, and actively improve practices and strategies.
• Excellent copywriting skills, eye for design, and product intuition.
• Excellent organizational, project and time management skills.
• Great communication, interpersonal, fluent written and spoken English skills.
• At least 2 hour overlap with AEST timezone (9am-5pm). More than this is a plus.
