Member of People Operations needed to support our NYC Office day to day operations (snack/supply ordering, guest management, office cleanliness) and other People Operations related projects across Anchorage Digital. Must be reliable and flexible with working schedule to fit the needs of our Village. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week onsite at our NYC headquarters and up to 2 days a week working remotely, if needed.
As a Member of People Operations you will:
- Create and maintain process documentation across multiple systems (notion, slack, google workspace).
- Support talent team in scheduling of interviews for individuals, teams, and on-site events as needed.
- Support NYC Office (e.g. check for packages/mail, open and sort, accept Instacart deliveries and stock snack/office supplies, pick up items and organize office to keep office in a presentable condition, run through office inventory checklist and order supplies and check conference rooms and phone booths for functionality and supplies, etc).
- Own and scale the employee gift program for village celebrations of life events.
- Administer company swag.
- Monitor employee questions for the people team and escalate as necessary.
- Support team rituals and drive engagement of cultural initiatives.
- Support, drive, and iterate upon people processes to enhance the overall employee experience.
- Assist in fostering team spirit and “togetherness” across, what we affectionately call, “Anchorage Village”.
- Help drive village celebrations of birthdays and anniversaries.
- Support scheduling and communication of trainings, webinars, people partner meetings, etc. to ensure the most effective use of time for employees.
- Help coordinate community events, including: company off-sites, local gatherings, and remote team bonding activities, holiday parties, happy hours, etc.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- Experience working as a People Coordinator or Workplace Operations professional
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A reputation for being exceptionally organized and can manage complex scheduling & multi-tasking
- An admirable attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- A passion to partner with others to improve processes and systems
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- The ability to work independently and effectively, demonstrating project management skills while holding others accountable, as needed.
- Proven success working with confidential and highly sensitive information with sound judgment, tact and discretion.
- Demonstrated the ability to be highly self-motivated to quickly solve problems & address roadblock
- Proficient skill in using a variety of computer applications and systems, including G-suite
- Willingness to raise hand for help or support

Compensation at Anchorage Digital:
- Compensation at Anchorage Digital is market-driven and data-informed. All full-time employees receive a market-leading salary, meaningful equity, and a generous perks and benefits package.
- Compensation Range: $42/hr (1099) - this salary range may be inclusive of multiple regional locations and job grades. This compensation range will be narrowed during the interview process based on skills, abilities, and experience required.  ****We partner with third party firms annually to verify equity, cash, benefits, and perks benchmarks. For sales and business development roles, the range provided is the On Target Earnings (“OTE”) which is inclusive of base salary + sales commissions/bonuses targets for the position.
