Role

HELIX is seeking a highly motivated and talented Web3/DeFi Research Intern to join our team. As a Web3/DeFi Research Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of HELIX's RWA protocol.

At HELIX, we are revolutionizing the way investors access private credit opportunities by connecting them to real-world assets through our innovative protocol. Our proprietary Credit Risk Analytics technology enables us to analyze and extract invaluable insights from millions of loan data points, ensuring that our investors have access to stable yields that are uncorrelated to the broader crypto market volatility.

Responsibilities

• Investor relations:
• Assist in preparation (design, develop and publish to investors) of investment materials, including teaser, investor presentation and whitepaper
• Identify new and existing relationships with crypto investors, including VC, family offices, private investors, and crypto funds
• Build, participate and maintain relationships with a large group of suitable investors for investment into the fund, including taking notes during meetings, maintaining internal CRM platform to organise and track fundraising progress
• Coordinate investor due diligence and onboarding
• Research:
• Conduct DeFi industry research and derive analysis to create internal and external reports
• Monitor markets across TradFi/CeFi/DeFi and contribute to jointly-authored daily newsletter
• Marketing:
• Publicise and market the protocol via social media and other communication channels (Twitter, Telegram, Discord, etc)
• Supporting on other brand and product campaigns to raise awareness about the Web3 decentralised lending protocol
• Other ad-hoc duties/projects as assigned as the role evolves

• Penultimate year or above undergraduates/postgraduates with a background in business, accountancy, or marketing.
• Proven track record of academic and professional excellence.
• Previous experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, investor relations, venture capital, private equity, or web3 projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Basic understanding of DeFi protocols, trends, themes, and tokenomics.
• Networking skills and an enjoyment of building relationships with investors.
• Open-minded, curious, and eager to learn.
• Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Programming skills are a plus but not required.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
