Your Role
Do you pride yourself in knowing all the latest web3 games and getting early access to their playtests? Are you anxiously waiting for the next set of exclusive NFTs to drop from your favorite gaming projects? Do you spend all your free time playing games and hanging out on Discord? We’re looking for a tech-forward, web3 gaming analyst / researcher to join our team. In this role, you will be keeping up with all of the latest game releases in the web3 gaming sector, research which games are coming out, and playtest many of them. You will be participating in various gaming discords and communities to keep track of current sentiments. You will also be using all the latest AI tools to help you in your research and content output.
The ideal candidate would have a thorough understanding of and a passion for web3 gaming, cryptocurrency, and blockchain, a fluent understanding of English grammar, and a solid grasp of historic events that have influenced the culture and development of both the web3 gaming and crypto industries.
Qualifications

At least a one to two year involvement in both the cryptocurrency and web3 gaming space.

Prior experience in a research or web3 gaming related role.

A passion for, and experience in playing traditional and web3 games.

Solid writing experience and a knack for explaining complex concepts simply.

Active community member of at least 1 blockchain game.

Familiarity engaging with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, Dall-E, and Midjourney to rapidly draft and publish content.

Ability to work independently and remotely with a portion of your availability during peak hours U.S. Eastern Time (somewhere between 8am — 6pm GMT-5)
Bonus Points

Prior experience working in gaming, research, or high-growth startups, prior experience as a research analyst or gaming analyst a huge plus.

Demonstrated experience in evaluating web3 economies and tokenomics.

Skillset to utilize analytical tools such as Notion, Confluence, Data.ai, and advanced crypto-native dashboards (e.g., On-Chain Research, Dune).

Domain knowledge of web3 gaming, traditional gaming, cryptocurrency, blockchain tech, DeFi, and smart contracts.
