Community Manager

GET Protocol, the leading on-chain ticketing protocol is searching for an experienced and mature Community Manager with a passion for all things Web3. This person should be a Web3 native at heart that enjoys contributing to protocols that make a positive impact on the world around them.

Primary responsibilities of the community manager would include supporting, growing and educating our Web3 community along with contributing to Web3 postings and activity on our social media.

The role would be part-time and average 3-4 hours/day, preferably 5-7 days/week.

Key Areas of Responsibility

- Community Management: Manage and operate the online communities, including Discord. Answer community member queries, enhance community activity and grow the number of active participants. The manager will also be in charge of communicating GET Protocol product and client updates to the community.

- Volunteer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with volunteers, such as moderators, ensuring their investment and support for the project.

- Offline Event Organization: Plan and execute a variety of offline events, such as community meetups, to increase brand awareness and user engagement.

- Social Media Activity: The manager will also be jointly tasked with maintaining the GET Protocol and Ticketing Revolution social media accounts, engaging in wider Web3 commentary, supporting likeminded protocols, posting content that appeals to our Web3 target audiences and supporting the mission of the On-Chain ticketing revolution.

Profile

We are looking for a person with:

- Demonstrable experience in managing and growing communities & social media channels;

- A sincere interest and affinity with all things Web3;

- An understanding of the Ticketing Revolution DAO’s purpose, workings and channels;

- An affinity with GET Protocol’s history and mission, both in the context of the ticketing industry, as well as from a crypto & token perspective.

- Remote work with the ability to routinely check-in with the foundation and DAO reps throughout the week.

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

- Actively participate on social media, being responsive and engage in discussions, topics, or threads related to the mission/vision of GET Protocol. Preferably using both the main account and personal account.

- Actively participate on Discord (or other sources), being responsive and engage in discussions. 

- Create campaigns/quests for community engagement both general and tailored to specific development updates. Create and maintain an environment in which active community engagement (by revolutionists) is/can be rewarded. 

- Work together with the marketing team & community leaders: a) Ideate on (new) ways to activate current community members and grow community together; b) Contribute to building a narrative, e.g., build out the Ticketing Revolution narrative.

- Consider the growth of the token price, the number of active discord members and the like.

- Clear objectives are to be set by, in accordance with the DAO and the team managing the community manager.

- The community manager will conduct their tasks remotely, with the opportunity for routine check-ins with the team and DAO representatives each week. The manager will also be able to, from time to time, visit the GET Protocol offices based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Role Extension

Extension of the role will take place via a DAO vote, that will be conducted 4 months into the position, to ensure clarity on the future of the role and the ability for the manager to prepare for the foreseeable future.

Salary

Salary will be set, in accordance with the DAO to conform with salaries for your local market.

As an example, the average yearly salary for a full-time Online Community Manager in the Netherlands, according to Payscale, is between 25-42k euros. Given we're looking for an experienced community manager that would translate to a monthly salary of up to 2000 euros.

The salary will be paid in our native token - GET which has been in existence for 5+ years and has ample liquidity to ensure conversion into local FIAT currency if desired by the community manager. The exchange rate for each monthly salary will be determined on the day of payment to ensure any local fluctuations are taken into account and the community manager is properly imbursed.

Bounty Fund

The community manager will also be able to maintain a bounty fund for community rewards and growth incentivization that they can distribute to the community. This fund will contain up to a maximum of 1500 xGET per month can be distributed, i.e., a total of 18000 xGET/year for the reward structure.
