Senior EVM Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced EVM Engineer with a deep passion for NFTs and NFT marketplaces to revolutionize digital ownership.The core of the work revolves around EVM, off-chain and multi-chain interaction, scaling, encryption, APIs, and usability.  As part of our team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to leverage your hands-on expertise to help set the tone and essential guidelines for our ecosystem.
What a typical day may look like:

<li>Research, design and implementation of existing and new EVM products</li>
<li>Contribute to Solidity development for Magic Eden’s NFT marketplace </li>
<li>Contribute to blockchain indexing systems with a focus on high performance and throughput</li>
<li>Work closely with company’s founders, designers, engineers and security auditors to ensure the systems are of high quality and delivered to the market in a timely manner.</li>

What you bring:
<ul>
<li>6 years experience, at least 2 of those years with Ethereum and EVM-based blockchains, smart-contract development with Solidity, Foundry, Web3.js / Ethers.js frameworks JavaScript/TypeScript.</li>
<li>Experience with Ethereum Development Suites (e.g. Foundry, Truffle, Ganache, Hardhat, Tenderly)</li>
<li>Experience in writing secure, efficient, and gas-optimized smart contracts for decentralized applications (DApps) on the Ethereum blockchain and other EVM-compatible networks.</li>
<li>Experienced with various technologies, self-motivated, a fast learner, and have a "get things done" mentality</li>
<li>Familiarity with open-source contribution practices and a proven track record of contributing to open-source Solidity projects.</li>
<li>Humble to embrace better ideas from others, eager to make things better, open to challenges and possibilities</li>

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  The base salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Magic Eden’s equity plan. Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.

Senior EVM Engineer

Magic Eden is the #1 cross chain NFT platform spanning Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Polygon. While some team members maintain a cross chain focus, it is critical we maintain subject matter expertise on each chain. For each chain, we will identify a Business Lead who will be responsible for helping us stay close to respective ecosystems and play a key role in shaping product strategy. Solana is close to our hearts given we are a Solana-born platform. We are looking for someone who will help position us as the most innovative, supportive team building on Solana.

Responsibilities:

<li>Own Solana business performance metrics including overall volume growth, revenue, and active traders across primaries and secondaries activities </li>
