Your missionAs a Procurement Analyst Intern, your mission is to support the Procurement Senior Manager in achieving cost-effective acquisition and margin performance for direct end-to-end purchases. You will play a key role in data analysis and reporting, analyzing margin performance, and driving continuous improvement in procurement processes.Start date: September 2024Duration: 6 months
Your main responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: collect and analyze spend data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings
- Generate reports and visualizations to present findings to senior management
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making
- Analyze Margin Performance: collaborate with the Finance department to analyze margin by product, cost of goods sold, inventory cost, and indirect costs
- Identify areas for improvement and propose strategies to enhance margin performance
- Monitor and track the implementation of improvement initiatives
- Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains in procurement operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and make adjustments as needed
What we are looking for:
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant field (Master 1 or Master 2 in Data or Finance Analysis, Procurement, Management Control)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must, other data analysis softwares are a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations
- Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
- Knowledge of procurement principles and practices is a plus
- Comfortable with reading English documentations
- By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will gain valuable experience in data analysis, margin performance analysis, and process improvement in procurement. Your contributions will support the achievement of cost-effective acquisition and margin performance goals.
