Social Media & Community Lead

Summary

Elevate Ventures is looking for a well-versed, creative, and passionate Social Media & Community Lead who will be responsible for managing social media accounts and building the entire community across various social channels. This role will work closely with the existing growth and marketing team. The ideal candidate will bring a data-driven approach to growing our social media accounts and community platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work in coordination with the marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies to grow, manage and engage our community on Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Facebook, Reddit, Tik Tok, Instagram and other possible channels that will enhance the overall growth of our community.
• Manage all aspects of social media, including scheduling content, engaging with our community, posting, and optimizing posts for KPIs.
• Manage a team of community moderators and assistants to foster a vibrant and positive community culture.
• Maintain and evolve the brand voice in all social-facing formats, from posts to comment responses to DMs.
• Create social media posts based on given content (articles, videos, images, etc).
• Identify relevant social trends to join in and develop timely content surrounding these trends.
• Host, moderate and contribute to AMAs, interviews, and other community/social discussions.
• Coordinate with the internal creative team on asset development and delivery, providing insight into design optimizations that can improve performance.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to create detailed reports on KPIs and social performance to show progress toward function goals.
• Assist in marketing initiatives as they arise and support the marketing team in developing social media campaigns.
• Follow, research, and share on developments in the industry and our competitors.
• Plan and execute giveaways, collabs, and other rewarding community activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in community and social media management.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and copywriting skills.
• Curiosity and/or passion in Web 3.0, blockchain, DeFi, gaming, NFTs and crypto.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, including but not limited to Discord, Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, Reddit, Instagram and/or Tik Tok.
• Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to concisely articulate a point of view.
• Desire to create social content that is truly engaging, with a creative mindset to think of outside-the-box content that will engage our community.
• Solid project management skills and ability to identify goals, prioritize tasks, and execute on quick timelines.
• Ability to work quickly on developing strategy, content, and execution when there is a timely trend to join.
• A self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
