Content Specialist

Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.

As a social video content creator at SDF, the ideal candidate will help shape how our social media audience understands and engages with Stellar through creative short-form videos, driving adoption and awareness of our ecosystem. In this role, this candidate will help lead our social video content strategy across platforms like Twitter, Instagram Reels, and more, helping break down complex blockchain concepts into digestible content. Working closely with our Communication, Digital, and Creative teams, they will work to support campaigns, events, and broader company initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly creative, personable, and eager to work fast and efficiently!

In this role, you will:

• First 30 days: Master brand voice & style. Get familiar with technical concepts. Begin producing initial social content
• Within 3 months: Lead social video strategy, establish metrics, and build workflows with key teams
• Within 6 months: Drive engagement growth, support event coverage, test new content styles
• Execute end-to-end video production independently, from ideation to final delivery
• Efficiently produce content across multiple social platforms with platform-specific optimizations
• Maintain consistent quality while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Adapt quickly to new social platform features and video formats

You have:

• 2-5 years creating engaging short-form video content with proven impact metrics
• Deep understanding of social platform algorithms and trend optimization
• Strong proficiency in video editing software and production techniques
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology and Web3 concepts
• Excellent visual storytelling abilities and creative direction skills
• Strong project management capabilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points:

• Experience creating content in the blockchain/Web3 space
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and motion graphics
• Track record of growing social media communities through video content

We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $90,000 - $120,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
