Your day to dayā¦
As our new Research Analyst you will work closely with our Head of Business Development, BD/DD teams, Advisors and greater network. You will collate, assess and qualify dealflow based on the suitability of projects with Eclipse Fiās theses, including their potential success within up-and-coming market focus areas.
Please note that this role is 100% remote, based in APAC or EMEA timezones.
Your focusā¦Ā
- Reading and reviewing Pitch Decks, Business Plans, Tokenomics and Financials.
- Assessing Market/Company attractiveness to help identify compelling opportunities.
- Involvement in all aspects of due diligence (business analysis, industry theses, competitive landscape, data collection and qualification).
- Constructing accurately detailed summaries of the project potential for presentation to our team.
- Sourcing and presenting new deal flow opportunities.
- Skillfully mining data sources for relevant information.
- Analysis of each potential Projectās Investor documents and capital raise details.
- Market/Vertical and Competitor research.
Your backgroundā¦
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Analyst/Researcher in VC, DeFi, IDO/ICO, Investment.
- Strong Blockchain and DeFi experience/knowledge and a passion for learning about new Blockchain evolutions.Ā
- Experience in Investment Due Diligence requirements and processes.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, early-stages team environment with limited supervision.
- Self starter, working with initiative and having the desire to find solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present and articulate ideas and findings with confidence.Ā
- Degree in a Finance related field (Preferred).
