Description
As XBTO’s inaugural social media hire, you will build the brand’s visibility and credibility by crafting and overseeing content, fostering engagement, and establishing connections across our various social media channels.
The successful candidate is confident, self-motivated, crypto-native and deeply immersed in social media. You must share our deep passion for innovation in the digital asset industry, well beyond a basic familiarity with cryptocurrencies. The ideal candidate not only comprehends the intricacies of social platforms where digital asset investors congregate, but also has the ability to harness the latest news and conversations to inform and engage. You will excel in this position if you thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in creating high-quality, insightful content that will make the XBTO brand stand out.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy supporting XBTO’s objectives.
- Build and manage XBTO’s social calendar.
- Plan, produce and post high-quality, insightful content on a daily basis (market commentary, industry trends, company news in varied text, graphic and video formats).
- Collaborate with XBTO Sales and Quantitative teams to produce high-intent technical content on digital asset management topics.
- Apply your own engagement growth playbook to nurture a loyal community of crypto-native participants.
- Foster meaningful interactions with XBTO’s audiences on social platforms,, in line with the company’s tone of voice and brand values.
- Monitor and analyze the impact of social media tactics to optimize for outputs.
- Research and test innovative approaches to utilize social media and reach savvy digital asset investment audiences.
- Collaborating and partnering with thought leaders and brand partners to boost XBTO’s visibility
Qualifications
- 4+ years of proven work experience as a Social Media Manager in the Crypto / Blockchain space. A portfolio of prior crypto-native works on social media will be appreciated.
- Highly curious about blockchain and digital assets, and passionate about the dynamics of financial markets.
- Strong attention to detail, with an affinity for technical products and business audiences.
- Ability to understand, simplify, and share complex crypto and financial concepts.
- Excellent English copywriting and editing skills.
- Familiarity with graphic and video production processes.
- Natural communicator and relationship builder, able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (sales, marketing, product, industry partners).
- Self-starter with a high tolerance to ambiguity and the ability to get things done in a startup environment.
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards, including while working with sensitive data.
