Chainlabs is a data startup focused on de-anonymising the blockchain. We are the largest data labels broker in Web3, making the ecosystem safer by identifying blockchain addresses linked to cybercrime activities.
Our clients include leading Web3 analytics companies such as Nansen, Coinbase, TRM, and Merkle Science, as well as law enforcement, traders, and academic researchers.
We’re growing fast and now need a hybrid analyst–project manager who can bridge pre-sales discovery with post-sales delivery, helping us expand into new client segments.
The Mission
This is not a typical analyst role. You’ll work directly with the CEO to scope, deliver, and grow high-value client projects. Your mission has three parts:
- Pre-Sales Discovery – Engage with potential clients (Exchanges, Analytics providers, DApp SMEs, etc.), uncover their requirements, and translate them into clear scopes of work.
- Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) – Run analytics experiments, prepare datasets, and deliver POCs that prove the value of Chainlabs data.
- Post-Sales Support – Manage consulting projects and onboarding, ensuring smooth delivery and high client satisfaction.
This role is both client-facing and hands-on — you’ll be working with blockchain datasets directly while also owning communication and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Client-Facing & Pre-Sales
- Participate in discovery calls with prospects, capturing requirements and use cases.
- Shape and propose POCs, pilots, and consulting projects.
- Support CEO in developing pitches and scoping proposals for new segments.
Project Management & Delivery
- Manage small-to-mid size client projects end-to-end, from scope to delivery.
- Coordinate with engineers and analysts to fulfil client-specific requests.
- Track progress, manage timelines, and communicate updates with stakeholders.
Analytics & Product Insight
- Run basic SQL queries and data digs to support POCs and consulting requests.
- Build lightweight dashboards, charts, or case studies showcasing Chainlabs data.
- Participate in labelling and on-chain analytics projects to deepen product knowledge.
Operational Support
- Help streamline client onboarding for new segments.
- Document repeatable processes for pre-sales and delivery.
- Share insights from clients back into the product and data teams.
What Success Looks Like
- Month 1–2: Confidently support discovery calls and contribute to at least one POC.
- Month 3–6: Independently manage consulting requests, deliver client-ready datasets, and reduce CEO bandwidth spent on project scoping.
- Month 6+: Act as a trusted Business Solutions partner, handling full-cycle pre-sales → delivery for new client segments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2–4 years in client-facing analytics, consulting, project management, or business analyst roles.
- Technical comfort: Able to query SQL, interpret blockchain datasets, and present findings clearly.
- Crypto-literate: Familiar with on-chain analytics platforms (e.g., Nansen, TRM, Chainalysis) and blockchain fundamentals.
- Client-facing skills: Strong communicator who can translate technical details into business outcomes.
- Hands-on: Willing to work across sales discovery, analytics digging, and project management.
- Adaptable: Thrives in a fast-moving startup with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Bonus: Experience delivering projects to Exchanges, Analytics providers, or Web3 startups.
