About Chainlabs
Chainlabs is a data startup focused on enabling web3 analytics. We specialise in identifying blockchain address ownership and tracking addresses linked to illicit activities. Our work supports industry leaders like Nansen in their wallet labelling efforts.
Our primary clients include anti-money laundering (AML) service providers, as well as law enforcement, traders, and academic researchers. Backed by Lunar Rails (200 employees), Chainlabs maintains the agility and independence of a startup while benefiting from financial stability and strong industry connections.

- Ensure HR compliance processes are properly followed and documented.
Operations & Admin:
- Maintain and update internal databases and spreadsheets with team and contractor information.
- Draft and manage employment and contractor contracts.
- Report key hiring and people data to Lunar Rails.
- Continuously improve internal HR and ops processes, including onboarding guides, policies, and templates.
- Support org chart updates, resource planning, offsite planning, and internal problem-solving.
Recruitment: (from time to time)
- Collaborate with hiring managers to write and post job descriptions.
- Manage candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews and assessments, and consolidate feedback.
- Conduct reference checks and draft offers.
Optional: (based on interest & skillset)
- Support business development initiatives, including cold outreach and strategic partnerships.
- Help coordinate conference involvement, including speaking slots and networking intros.
- Explore AI tool implementation and other special projects if desired.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in a People, HR, or Ops role—ideally in a startup or remote-first environment..
- Highly organised with experience managing documentation, spreadsheets, and internal workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment pipelines and conduct interviews
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, remote setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for improving team culture and communication.
Benefits
- Competitive salary.
- Remote work environment with a flexible schedule.
- A team that values data and AI; our founder is a data scientist.
- A company culture that values transparency, speed, courage, and curiosity.
- Exposure to a global network of industry experts and partners
