About the Galaxy Summer Internship Program: 

The Galaxy NYC Summer Internship Program is an immersive and exciting, nine-week experience taking place on-site in our New York HQ office. During the nine weeks, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on, practical work experience on our Legal & Compliance team. In addition to learning on the job, Galaxy interns participate in professional development programming, fun social events, and networking opportunities with senior leaders.

Program Dates: June 9th – August 8th, 2025 (flexible)

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in reviewing, drafting and revising legal documents relating to various transactions
• Work with members of the Legal & Compliance team to summarize the contents of legal documentation and agreements for applicable business units and propose recommendations to those business units regarding legal issues arising from such agreements
• Support members of the Legal & Compliance team in ongoing regulatory analyses and assessments with respect to various transactions and lines of business at Galaxy
• Update and maintain databases of legal documentation following the closing of various transactions

What We’re Looking For:

• Current law student (rising 2L or 3L)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Organized individual with great attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively on a team, with good communication skills
• Strong capabilities in PowerPoint and Excel
• Interest in cryptocurrency and the digital asset space and high-level knowledge of the underlying technology and the regulatory considerations applicable to the space
• Ability to spend the summer in (or commuting distance from) New York City

Eligibility Requirements:

• Law students graduating between May 2026 and May 2027
• Students not enrolled in JD programs are not eligible to apply

Interns are classified as non-exempt employees and will be paid a rate of $55/hr.
